Today my son is asking for his favorite thing that is a quick gluten free banana chocolate desserts recipe that is an easy to and quick to make. It requires no bake, pure unsweetened sugar free chocolate, so its gluten free, suited for diabetic patients as well.
Mostly people make banana chocolate dessert recipes using sweetened chocolate chips, but in my case I am using here plain sugar free chocolate for topping. I make this easy and quick 5 minutes dessert recipe at home for one, two or as many guests as i need to, in moments.
So let’s rock without wasting time.
Ingredients:
- 2 Bananas
- Black Chocolate Sugar Free
- Walnuts
- Hazelnuts
- Coconut Oil
There are no hard and fast rules to make banana chocolate dessert at home, so the sequence of steps may be altered as far as the outcome is same as mine one, shown in image.
To start, I will place the pan at stove on medium heat, in my case it’s a glass based pan that is heat proof, and of course you will go with a straightforward simple pan you have in your kitchen.
First thing first I will pour in a tablespoon of coconut oil in the pan, I may go with simple cooking oil but coconut oil brings in catchy fragrance that enhances the recipe and some health benefits.
Next step is to deal with chocolate, I got Belgium chocolate that is not raw and already processed, in the form of chips, but I need it in melted for my banana chocolate dessert recipe, I will throw it all to the oil in the pan.
Note: As far as we are working on banana dessert with chocolate chips that is sugar free and healthy, make sure you get quality chocolate from your preferred store, not all of them are pure and may not be safe for patients.
Now I will peel off banana and chop it in 2 inch even size pieces. I am not obsessing over exact piece size, its up to you how big or small the pieces should be cut down. As far as its convenient to dip it down in chocolate, its OK.
Its controversial to insert toothpicks in banana, but this is how it’s done conventionally when making this banana desserts. I am just practicing the same I experienced and the only reason to do it is to pick the pieces easily. So I will pop in toothpicks in all the pieces one by one from cross-section.
In the meanwhile our chocolate is completely melted, I will remove the pan from stove and leave it for some time to cool down a bit.
Now I will start rolling in each banana piece in melted chocolate, we can use spoon to top it with chocolate as well, whichever method you use, make sure the pieces are covered with chocolate.
Now either you can sprinkle walnuts and hazelnuts over the chocolate topped banana pieces or you can roll it down as well to let hazelnuts and walnuts stick to each piece. I will coat every banana piece quickly and place in a plate.
I will do the same steps for all pieces, dipping in chocolate and then in dipping in walnut and hazelnut mixture one by one.
Now after completing coating, I will want to put it in refrigerator so that it cools down and melted chocolate harden quickly. Boom its ready to bite.
So this homemade quick gluten free banana chocolate desserts recipe is quick and easy as it needs no bake. It is sugar free, tasty, enhanced with fragrance of coconut oil as well as healthy because it is both gluten free for sugar patients.
